I love hot and creamy dips. This recipe for Hot Shrimp and Artichoke Dip is simple, amazing, and very easy to make. It’s a variation on my slow cooker spinach artichoke dip, but it ‘s made in the oven. Of course, it’s winter, so I don’t mind turning on the oven, In the summer I might have a different opinion.
What I love best about this recipe for Hot Shrimp and Artichoke Dip is that it is made from only 5 ingredients, and all are easy to find. There are no exotic ingredients. Everything can be found in your neighborhood grocery store. In fact, this recipe is so simple that it may become a go to recipe for an impromptu get together.
In the interest of full disclosure I need to tell you that the dip doesn’t get this great carmelization on top of it when you bake it. I stuck it under the broiler for 5 minutes to add a little color because I though it would photograph better this way.
Hot Shrimp and Artichoke Dip, served with crackers or tortilla chips may be the perfect dip to serve at your Superbowl Party with or without the carmelization from a few minutes under the broiler.
