Grilled Cajun Style Pork Chops

These grilled pork loin chops are loaded with flavor and so incredibly easy to make that people won’t believe that they only need two ingredients.  Total hands on time for cooking is under 30 minutes.    The secret to the exceptional flavor is the use of a Cajun style rub that is allowed to sit on the meat for several hours before they are thrown on the grill.Cajun Grilled Pork Chop 1.1 Allowing the dry rub to sit on the chops for a prolonged period allows the flavor to penetrate deeper into the meat and produces a more flavorful end product.

Ten minutes on each side, and the chops are ready to come off of the grill.  These chops are moist and perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of carmelization, to produce the most delicious flavor.

We served these pork chops with grilled vegetables.  It was a perfect, simple and delicious summer meal.

These two ingredient pork chops are simple and delicious, the perfect meal for a hot Summer night. The recipe uses 4 (1/2 pound) pork chops, but these are cut in half for sliced before serving.
Ingredients
  • 4 (1/2 pound) pork chops
  • 4 teaspoons of Cajun Seasoning
Instructions
  1. Rinse and dry pork chops
  2. Rub 1 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning over the surface of each pork chop
  3. Place pork chops in a single layer in a covered dish in the refrigerator.
  4. Allow to sit in refrigerator for at least 2 hours and up to 24 hours.
  5. Remove pork chops from fridge and place on hot grill.
  6. Grill for 10 minutes on each side or until pork chops are cooked through.
