With Easter just around the corner, I have been thinking of the food traditions from my childhood.  One of the traditions of the season was Creamed Eggs on Toast.  Another was Glorified Rice.  I don’t know how this dish got its name, so I have no idea  why it was called glorified.  I only know that it was delicious and a childhood favorite.  Occasionally, my mother would make it on other occasions, too, but I always associate it with Easter. No-Bake Easter Nests

One good thing about having a well stocked pantry is that it’s easy to whip up treats for your loved ones without making a run to the store.  Before I continue though, I have to confess something.  I love jelly beans.  Jelly Belly beans are my favorite, and I almost always have some around the house.  It makes my husband crazy because he doesn’t understand why I buy jelly beans when Easter is no where in sight.  The truth is that I have a Jelly Belly addiction.
