Red Velvet Cake Mix Crinkle Cookies

I may be overdoing things with these crinkle cookies, but with upcoming holidays, I just realized that what we need in our lives is Red Velvet Cake Mix Crinkle Cookies.  Think about it.  Red is a great color for Christmas, but it’s a great color for Valentine’s day, too.  That means that there are at least two occasions where red velvet crinkle cookies can make an appearance in your house.  There are other times, too.

Pumpkin Cake Roll

Pumpkin Cake Roll

This recipe for Pumpkin Cake Roll may be coming a little late to the annual pumpkin recipe party, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to share it with all of my readers.  It’s just too good to wait until next fall.   This tantalizing dessert of pumpkin cake wrapped around a sweet and tangy cream cheese frosting is addictive.  Besides, this Pumpkin Cake Roll freezes well, so if you’ve picked up any pumpkin that’s on sale, you can make several and store them in the freezer until you’re ready to entertain.

Chocolate Mousse Cake

Chocolate Mousse Cake

Chocolate Mousse Cake is another no bake dessert that’s simple and delicious and is sure to become a family favorite.  Creamy and delicious, this is the perfect decadent dessert.  This recipe is similar to the Chocolate Eclair Cake recipe that we published in December of 2015, but since we are making it in our 30 days of cans, we substituted canned evaporated milk in place of fresh milk in the mousse.    This is such a fun and simple dessert, we will be making it several times this summer.

Iced Scone

Orange Cranberry Scones

So far this week, I have posted two recipes for finger sandwiches that would be great for a Mother’s Day tea party.  Today, I am going to share a recipe for scones.  Scones are a traditional tea time treat.   These scones are sweet and delicious, and  I love the combination of orange and cranberry.   They are also very easy to make.  In my recipe, I used dried cranberries.  If you are looking for a recipe made with fresh cranberries, check out this recipe at Sally’s Baking addiction.  I chose to use dried cranberries because they are available in my […]
