  • 2 cups all purpose flour ($0.42)
  • 1/2 tsp salt ($0.01)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder ($0.11)


  • Spoon flour into measuring cup and level with a spoon. Do NOT scoop with the measuring cup as this packs the flour.
  • Add baking powder and salt to flour mixture.
  • Stir with a whisk or spoon for several minutes until well combined.
  • Store in a covered container and use in recipes calling for self rising flour.
