Cut chicken breasts into thinner pieces if they're very thick then season liberally as desired. We like salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Grill chicken, or pan fry until done. Set aside.
Place chopped romaine lettuced and the Caesar dressing into a bowl.
Toss lettuce with dressing until well coated.
Divide lettuce evenly among 4 serving plates.
Sprinkle the top of the dressed lettuce on each plate with ¼ cup parmesan cheese.
Cut chicken into strips, or bite sized pieces, and diistribute evenly on top of the cheese topped salad.
Sprinkle 1/4 cup of croutons over top of the salad.
Season with freshly ground pepper to taste.
Serve. (This is delicious served with hot rolls or a piece of garlic toast.)
